Carmen + Arvo | Oregon Coast Wedding

Carmen and Arvo were married on a dairy farm in Astoria, Oregon that has been in Arvo’s family for generations. Every detail of the wedding was personal and meaningful, the love in the air was palpable, and it was one of those weddings that made me audibly say “I love my job” at the end of it.

We had scheduled golden hour photos, but it unfortunately ended up being pretty overcast all day. But, as the reception drew to a close and I packed up my car for the few hours of driving ahead, I heard Carmen yell my name. I looked up to see her pointing to the sky.

In seconds, the gray had transformed into a vibrant cotton candy sky - a perfect treat to end what was already a beautiful day.
