Azenay + Jordan | Oregon Elopement

This is one of the loveliest weddings/elopements I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing. “Thoughtful” is the word that comes to mind when I look back on this day and the weeks and months leading up to it.

Azenay and Jordan reached out to me a year before their elopement day. They wanted to make sure each detail, each part of the day was well-planned, meaningful. At the end of our initial zoom call, Azenay casually asked about my favorite hobbies and shows.

I didn’t think much of it, until a box sent from Colorado arrived at my doorstep several weeks later. Confused, I opened it to find flower seeds, garden trinkets, and funny The Office and Parks and Rec stickers. It was was such a thoughtful gesture, and I knew I was going to love working with these two.

They invited an intimate group of loved ones to their reception at Portland’s stunning Andina restaurant following their private ceremony at a friend’s home. There was pure joy all around as the night ended with full stomachs and plenty of laughter in celebration of such a beautiful, thoughtful couple.
